The Procession of the Chymical Wedding of
the Green Witch and Red Wizard
 

When you arrive at Heartsong, you will come to a table to be marked with the sigil of this wedding in a temporary tattoo.

You will then have time to enjoy the beauty of Heartsong, seek shade, and drink refreshments. Some facilitated gathering will be offered.
 

There will be an altar to Our Lady of the Bagua. Before the statue of our Blessed Mother Mary, you are invited to light one of the candles and make a prayer for the union of Sigh and Jonathan.

 

At 3pm, the bride and groom will emerge to tell the story of their cosmic union alongside the master of Heartsong. After this performance, they will prepare for the great work.

 

We will all gather around a bamboo enclosure, our athanor for the alchemy. Before the entrance, the witch and wizard will come. They will be adorned with their colors, given the sacred vessel to which they will add the soil of their homelands, the blessed water of their elders, and their own blood. They will seal this vessel with fire and vows. Sacred rings will be brought to bind one to the other. So encumbered, they will enter the structure and be closed inside.

 

It is then that we will circle them and be led in song to forge their union in the privacy of their hearts, in the sanctity of their pairing, in the warmth of their community, and in the glory of God.

 

They emerge from the enclosure forever wedded.
 

It is then, surely, time to toast, feast, and dance.
